Visualizations provide graphs and charts that create representations of your data, and are especially useful in dashboards. They can be accessed in three areas of Sigma:

1. Under Elements on the left-hand menu, Visualizations has its own Section
2. Under the Data Elements on the left-hand menu, Visualizations can be selected as “Viz”
3. On the top right corner, a chart icon can be used to access the same

NOTE: All of these grant access to the same function.

Much as in Excel, these visualizations are 2-dimensional. That is, row data (X-axis) is plotted against column data (Y-axis).

Visualizations include:

• Bar Charts
• Line Graphs (excellent for use in visualizing trends)
• Scatter Plot
• Area Charts
